Beethoven's sublime Piano Concerto No. 5 (the Emperor) -- a stellar live performance by Krystian Zimerman with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Leonard Bernstein, who based the song Somewhere in his West Side Story on the exquisite second movement. The final moments here are beyond electrifying:

The glorious fun and passion overflowing from Bernstein - especially at the end - is utterly priceless. Then their triumphant embrace just tops everything off. To see such heart! What a beautiful performance! You-know-who arrived in the bedroom awash with tears and made me watch it. Eye
