Description

B.A in Scholastic Philosophy and Philosophy from Queen's University Belfast (2004), MPhil in Philosophy from the same in 2006 (Thesis titled: The Distinction between Essence and Existence in the Thought of Thomas Aquinas), currently working on a PhD on Thomistic metaphysics and transcendental idealism (tentatively entitled The Metaphysics of St Thomas Aquinas and neo-Thomistic realism). Research interests - Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, Thomistic Metaphysics and Kantian idealism, problems of knowledge especially with regard to representationalism, the notion of Christian philosophy and whether it is applicable to medieval philosophy, contemporary debates about language and mental content, faith and reason.
