Tom Burroughes is a financial journalist, currently an editor of a wealth management publication in the UK, having worked in the media for more than 20 years, including Reuters, The Business and Market News International. A fan of Ayn Rand's philosophy and robust defence of reason and capitalism, he was a member of the Libertarian Alliance (UK) (founded by the late, great Chris R. Tame) between the mid-1980s and 2011. He has spoken at conferences organised by groups such as Libertarian Home in the UK and the Adam Smith Institute. He is married and lives in London.
